Frequently asked questions
What licence do I need?+
A full motorcycle licence valid for the bike's category. For the larger BMW GS models you need an A licence; A2 riders can rent the smaller models. Bring your physical licence to the depot — we verify it at hand-over.
How does the security deposit work?+
A refundable deposit is held as a card pre-authorization at pick-up and released when you return the bike undamaged. Nothing is charged now; the amount depends on the model and is confirmed before pick-up.
What insurance is included?+
All rentals include comprehensive insurance (CDW) with a reduced excess. The excess is the maximum you'd pay in case of damage and is covered by the deposit pre-authorization. Lower-excess options can be arranged.
Can I do a one-way rental between depots?+
Spain and Africa are separate depots, so one-way between continents isn't possible. One-way within a region can sometimes be arranged — add it to your message and we'll confirm.
Can I rent gear as well as the bike?+
Yes. Helmets are available on request, and panniers, top cases and crash bars can be added. Select them under Extras in the form and we'll have them ready.
What's the minimum rental length?+
Rentals start from 3 days. For longer trips we offer better weekly rates — just ask in your request.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Because this is a request, nothing is charged until you confirm. Once a booking is confirmed, the cancellation terms are shared with your confirmation and documents.
When and where do I pick up the bike?+
At your chosen depot during opening hours, or by arrangement. We'll confirm the exact time with your booking — bring your licence and the card used for the deposit.
